The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company onMarch 30 1999 at Mumbai under the Companies Act 1956 in thename of Galaxy Dig Systems Limited. The Company obtained thecertificate for Commencement of Business on April 15 1999. TheCompany's name was changed to Galaxy Multimedia Limited witheffect from October 5 1999.The Company was incorporated with focus on the followingbusiness areas:a) Production of TV softwares/programmesb) Production of Multimedia - Computer Based Tutorials (CBTs)c) Post production facilities to the above.Galaxy Multimedia Limited represented by Mr. Vipin Rai BhayanaPromoter of the Company is associated with Prime Focus Ltd as CoProducer for production of 52 episodes of the television serial`Hotel Hindustan'. The Serial is already on air on Zee TV fromMarch 5 2000. The financial gain/loss resulting from theproduction of the serial will be shared equally.The Company has produced it's first Music Video titled `ThreeBrothers and Violin' for Magnasound (India) Limited and isalready aired on MTV and Channel V. The entire rights for thismusic video has been sold to Magnasound (India) Limited for aconsideration of Rupees Seven lacs.Subsidiary CompanyThe Company does not have any subsidiary company.
