Asia Pack Limited was incorporated as a Private LimitedCompany on the 23rd April 1985 and converted into a PublicLimited Company by passing a Special Resolution in theExtra-Ordinary General Meeting held on the 8th June 1987.The change in name was effected from the 12th August 1987by the Registrar of Companies Rajasthan at Jaipur. The Company is presently engaged in the manufacturing ofPP/HDPE woven fabric/sacks and merchant export activities.The existing manufacturing facilities are situated at H-34to 39 RIICO Industrial Area Udyog Vihar Sukher Udaipur.The Unit was set up with an installed capacity of 575 MTper annum for manufacturing of PP/HDPE woven fabric/sacksin 1987. The Unit was financed by way of Equity Capital ofRs. 11.70 lacs Term Loan of Rs 52.16 lacs from RIICO(including Seed Capital Loan Rs. 9.50 lacs) and Rs. 29.10lacs from RFC (Rajasthan Financial Corporation) and StateSubsidy of Rs. 13.70 lacs. The Company commenced commercialactivities in 1987-88. RIICO the Lead Institution together with RFC rescheduledthe repayment of term loan granted to the Company byextending the last date for repayment by two years. Thereschedulement was granted in view of the mandatory JuteOrder 1987 due to which higher incidence of exise duty andscarcity of raw materials had affected the working of thewoven sack industries.PRESENT ACTIVITIES.The Company is an established supplier of PP/HDPE wovenfabric/ sacks. Its main domestic customers are the CementUnits located in the States of Rajasthan and MadhyaPradesh. The Company has exported PP woven sacks through aMerchant Exporter. The Company has commenced merchantexports activity from the year 1992-93.
