The Company was incorporated on April 21 1994 as JRC FinvestLimited in the office of the Registrars of Companies Gujaratat Ahmedabad. The Company obtained the Certificate for theCommencement of Business on May 3 1994.The Company has since commenced operations in the areas of billdiscounting investments trading in shares. lending andinvestment in real estates.MAIN OBJECTSThe Main Object of the Company as set out in the Memorandum ofAssociation is as under:1. To carry on and undertake the business as Financiers and tofinance lease operations of all kinds such as hiring lettingon hire and dealing in all kinds of properly movable andimmovable goods chattels motor cars motor buses vehiclesplant land and building machinery of all types and bullionstocks shares and securities issued by any Company; and tofinance industrial enterprises and to promote companies engagedin industrial and trading business.2. To carry on the business of an investment Company and toinvest the capital and other moneys of the Company and to enterinto forward and speculative transactions in the purchase orupon the security of shares stocks units debenturesdebenture stock bonds mortgages obligations and securitiesissued or guaranteed by any Company corporation or undertakingof whatever nature whether incorporated or otherwise andwheresoever constituted or carrying on business and to buyconvey sell or otherwise deal in shares stocks debenturesdebenture stock bonds notes mortgages obligations and othersecurities issued or guaranteed by any government sovereignruler commissioners trust municipal local or other authorityor body of whatever nature in India or abroad.3. PRESENT BUSINESSThe Company has commenced commercial operations since July 1994and presently has an equity base of Rs. 300 lakhs.The Company has discounted trade bills to the extent of Rs. 77lakhs. In the area of investment banking the Company has so fardeployed Rs. 165 lakhs for the purchase of shares and units.The Company has also disbursed Rs. 23.50 lakhs as short termlending to various Companies. The Company has also invested Rs.53.90 lacs in the real estate in Dahanu Dist. Thane to develop7000 sq.ft. of commercial area and 2500 sq.ft residential area.
