About Aragen Life Sciences Ltd IPO
Incorporated in December 2000, Aragen Life Sciences Limited is a contract research, development and manufacturing organisation (CRDMO) that works with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other life sciences companies globally. Its services cover a broad part of the drug development journey through its CRO and CDMO businesses, serving both small-molecule and biologics programmes.
The company provides services ranging from drug discovery and pre-clinical research to process development, API and intermediate development, formulation, GMP manufacturing and analytical testing. It also offers integrated gene-to-GMP solutions for biologics, giving customers access to multiple stages of development and manufacturing through a single platform.
Aragen serves customers across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, animal health, agrochemicals and specialty chemicals. During Fiscal 2026, it worked with 591 customers globally, including 16 of the top 20 Big Pharma companies. Its customer base spans the United States, Europe, Japan, India and other markets in the Asia-Pacific region. The company follows an integrated US-India operating model, combining scientific capabilities in the US with research and manufacturing infrastructure in India.
Its technical capabilities cover areas such as peptides, oligonucleotides, nucleic acid chemistry, PROTACs, lipids, bio-conjugation, DMPK, pharmacology, cell and protein sciences and molecular biology. As of March 31, 2026, Aragen had an installed small molecule CDMO capacity of 364.12 KL, clinical-scale formulation capacity of 1 million doses per annum and GMP biologics manufacturing capacity of 2.50 KL. During Fiscal 2026, its chemistry laboratories produced more than 60,000 novel compounds and screened over 50,000 compounds across biology programmes.
As of March 31, 2026, the company had 4,362 permanent employees, including 3,412 scientific personnel and 479 PhD holders, supporting its research, development, manufacturing and other business functions.
