Vedanta Limited has disclosed an encumbrance over 2,11,68,84,819 shares of Hindustan Zinc, representing 50.10% of the company's total share capital. The undertaking was created on September 28, 2026, and disclosed to the stock exchanges on September 30.
Encumbrance Linked to Rs.2,000 Crore NCDs
- Vedanta issued Rs.2,000 crore NCDs through private placement.
- The NCDs are unsecured, rated, listed and redeemable.
- Axis Trustee Services is the debenture trustee.
