Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited (GHFL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lubrizol to collaborate on the development and manufacturing of advanced Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)-based film solutions in India. The collaboration will combine Lubrizol's TPU technology and material science expertise with GHFL's engineering, processing and manufacturing capabilities to develop and commercialise new high-value TPU-based products. GHFL plans to invest approximately Rs 118 crore in advanced TPU film extrusion and manufacturing capabilities, which are expected to be operational by December 2026.
