What the Nifty Rejig Means for Investors
The changes could lead to increased buying or selling activity in the affected stocks as index funds, ETFs and other passive investment vehicles adjust their portfolios. The inclusion of BSE in the Nifty 50 could also increase its visibility among institutional investors and market participants.
What to Watch Next
Investors will track trading activity in the affected stocks ahead of the September 30 implementation date, particularly BSE, Wipro and the companies entering or leaving the Nifty 100 and Nifty Next 50.
