The hospital will be located at the PES University campus in Electronic City and managed by KIMS under a 25-year lease agreement.
KIMS Hospital has entered into a lease agreement for setting up a Super Specialty Hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka, at Peoples Education Society (PES) campus, Electronic City along with management of the Super Specialty Hospital.
PES is a university of repute and conducts several educational courses in various parts of the country. PES is in the process of setting up a medical college along with a teaching hospital at its campus at Electronics City, Bengaluru PES is developing the structure to house a hospital with about 350 beds. It consists of 11 upper floors and a ground floor, totaling 3,50,000 square feet of built-up area. There is also a utility room and a radiation oncology bunker. KIMS Hospital Bengaluru Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS) entered into a lease deed of 25 years and availed on lease the land and hospital building, for the purposes of setting up the Super Specialty Hospital from PES.
KIMS Hospital Bengaluru Private Limited (“the KIMS”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited also entered into a management agreement with PES to exclusively manage the proposed under-construction hospital unit at Electronics City, Bengaluru. The Super Specialty Hospital will be managed properly and efficiently by KIMS, which will have exclusive oversight and control over it. All Super Specialty Hospital revenues will be billed to and collected by KIMS, which will also bear the hospital's operating costs. KIMS shall be solely entitled to the Net Profits of the Super Specialty Hospital in each Financial Year.
