Styrenix Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance; EBITDA and PAT Surge

Styrenix Q1 FY27 Financial Performance and Business Updates

Styrenix Performance Materials Limited reported a consolidated total income of rupee 1,014.2 crore for Q1 FY27, compared with rupee 946.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company's consolidated EBITDA more than doubled to rupee 223.6 crore from rupee 99.8 crore in Q1 FY26, while Profit After Tax (PAT) increased sharply to rupee 138.3 crore from rupee 18.6 crore. As a result, the EBITDA margin expanded to 22.0% from 10.5%, and the PAT margin improved to 13.6% from 2.0%.

Despite the improvement in profitability, sales volume declined to 50.8 KT from 67.2 KT in Q1 FY26, reflecting the challenging market environment during the quarter.

The company stated that geopolitical developments and volatility in energy and raw material prices impacted the polymer industry. However, diversified sourcing and strong supplier partnerships helped maintain supply continuity.
