The Company was incorporated in December 1976 in the nameof J.B. Mody Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Later thename was changed to J.B. Chemical and Pharmaceuticals Ltd.and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation upon change ofname was issued on 21/08/85 by the Registrar of CompaniesMaharashtra at Mumbai.J.B. Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is the flagship ofthe ''Unique'' group of companies. The Company was foundedby Mr. J.B. Mody along with his two brothers Mr. D.B.Mody and Mr. S.B. Mody. It is engaged in the business ofmanufacturing bulk drugs intermediates formulationsayurvedic and herbal preparations. The Company''smanufacturing facilities are situated at Thane BelapurAnkleshwar Panoli and Daman.
