Muthoot Capital Services Ltd. (MCSL) was incorporated on 18thFebruary 1994 and obtained its Certificate of Commencement ofBusiness on 23rd March 1994. MCSL was initially registered withan authorised capital of Rs.100.00 lacs which was subsequentlyincreased to Rs.700.00 lacs.MCSL is presently into fund and non fund based activities withparticular focus on the State of Kerala.Since its incorporation MCSL has been actively involved insecondary and primary market operations. In the secondarymarket MCSL through its offices which are situated atstrategic locations in Kerala has been executing large numberof orders for investors of Kerala through Cochin CoimbatoreMadras and Bombay Stock Exchanges. This in turn has helped theCompany to develop a large portfolio of investors who haveavailed of the Share Discounting and Advance against Sharesschemes.The Advance against Shares scheme offered by MCSL enables theinvestors to take advance against the securities held by them onrelatively nominal terms than what is offered by other upcountryfinance companies and even many banks. The Share Discountingscheme offers an unique facility of faster pay out on securitiessold at Bombay and Madras Stock Exchanges. MCSL offers topurchase the said securities at a discount and gives the paymentto the client across the counter.
