Our Company is recipientof "RASHTRIYA UDYOG RATNA AWARD" in the Year 2010 by Center for Educational Development Researchfor excellence in their respective field. The Company was initially started as a Partnership firm under thename of "Tijaria Overseas Vinyl" in the year 2000 which was later on converted into a Private LimitedCompany on July 17 2006 on continuous basis under Part IX of The Companies Act 1956 and wassubsequently converted into a Public Limited Company w.e.f. July 20 2006. The Company through itsvision of learning and constant innovation has become a premier name in the industrial agriculturalinfrastructure domestic and telecommunication fields.The Company under the leadership of Mr. Alok Jain Tijaria the Managing Director along with otherPromoter Directors Mr. Vikas Jain Tijaria Mr. Praveen Jain Tijaria and Mr. Vineet Jain Tijaria have madeTijaria Polypipes Ltd. a successful and quality oriented Company in the cosmic market. The Company hasconsistently registered growth in turnover and profitability over the previous years and now proposes tofurther expand and diversify in other polymer products as detailed in Section titled "Objects of the Issue"beginning on Page No. 57 of this Prospectus.Our Company in its pursuit to explore newer opportunity in the marketing / dealing in agriculturalproduce the Board of directors of the our Company proposed to enter into the business of agriculturalproducts on trial basis and passed the enabling resolution and thereafter it obtained the shareholdersapproval for dealing in agriculture produce at the meeting held on 2nd day of September 2009 andamended the main object clause by inserting new clause no. 3. Our Company entered into a ConsignmentSale Agreement with an overseas consignee M/s Independent Fruit Trade B.V. situated at Barbizonlaan 872908 ME Capelle ad Ijssel Holland for sale of Indian Grapes. Our Company got registration from theAgricultural and Food Products Export Development Authority Ministry of Commerce Govt. of India. Thecompany purchased grapes from the various farmers in the State of Maharashtra and sold under the saidconsignment agreement to the overseas consignee. The entire consignment has been sold and exportproceeds have been realized. The business of trading in grapes is not the main line of business andaccounts for just ` 94.56 Lacs which constitutes 0.86% of the total sales of the Company as on March 312010 and ` 200.97 lacs during the Financial Year ended March 31 2011 which constitutes 1.69% of thetotal sales turnover for the said period.
