Remsons Industries Ltd. was incorporated as REMSONS CABLES(P) LTD. on 11/5/1971 with ROC Maharashtra. Subsequentlythe Company was converted into a Public Ltd Company interms of special resolution passed on 25th October 1986and name of the Company was subsequently changed to RemsonsCables Ltd. & a fresh certificate for change of name wasobtained from ROC on 18th November 1986. The Companythereafter has received fresh certificate of incorporationconsequent on change of name from Remsons Cables Ltd. toRemsons Industries Ltd. from ROC on 18th November 1986.The Company is having its Registered Office at 88-B Govt.Industrial Estate Kandivli (West) Bombay - 400 067. The Company''s name ''Remsons'' is well known in theAutomobile industry promoted by Shri. VishwaprakashHarlalka. The Company is presently engaged in themanufacturing of Control Cables for Automobile and GeneralEngineering purposes Brake Liners and Brake shoes. TheCompany has totally eight manufacturing units out of whichtwo units are located at Kandivli (W) Bombay three unitsare at Daman one unit at Gurgaon in the State of Haryanaone unit at Pardi (Gujarat) and one is in Koregaon BhimaDist. Pune. The units located at Bombay Daman Pardi andGurgaon are engaged in the manufacturing of Auto Cords andAuto Control Cables whereas the unit located at Pune isengaged in the manufacture of Brake Shoes and General BrakeLiners along with Control Cables. The Company since its commercial production activities atits all plants had not faced major labour problems whichhas resultant into the closure of the unit.The Company has an in house Research & Development (R & D)Department with a team of qualified professionals which hasenabled the Company to match the changing needs of theAutomobile Manufacturers and also to develop high valueadded products. Remson''s R & D continue to be technologyinnovative and continue to develop new methods to produceBowden Cables that meet the special demands of customersnew technologies. The Company has produced "Friction FreeCables" with the invention of Polysil with its own know howwhich is import substitute and eventually millions offoreign exchange of the country is saved. The continuous R& D activities has kept the Company with the pace of theautomobile industry or rather a step ahead of them. All themachines and equipments required have been designeddeveloped and erected on the technology developed by Shri.V. Harlalka and the R & D team.*********************************
