The Company was Incorporated as a Private Limited Company on19th February 1990 in the name of Kosiwala Financial Consultants(P) Ltd. under the Companies Act 1956. It became a PublicLimited Company by passing a special resolution on 31st March1994 and subsequently changed it''s name to KOSlAN FINANCELIMITED with effect from 15th April 1994.PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANYThe Company has already established the required infrastructureand necessary facilities for the work of Registrars & ShareTransfer Agents. The total cost involved in the set up ofRegistrars & Share Transfer Agents is estimated at Rs. 30 Lakhsfor which the Company has already a Term Loan sanction of Rs. 20Lakhs and Rs. 10 Lakhs has been contributed by the promoters.The Company has already acquired Office Premises and otherinfrastructure facilities.Besides this the Company is engaged in a host of financialservices activities as under:a.PROJECT ADVISORY SERVICES :Project advisory and consultancy on various financial matters isthe main activity of the Company. Preparation and appraisal ofproject reports Capital Structuring and tax consultancy are theareas of thrust for the Company presently.b. MERCHANT BANKING :The Company is a SEBI registered Category IV Merchant Banker andhas been till presently engaged in assisting and acting asadvisors to various public/rights issues and also in procuringsubscriptions to the said issues. The Company has applied toSEBl for an upgradation to Category III and is awaitingapproval.c. LOAN SYNDICATION/BILL DISCOUNTING:The Company has been involved in the arrangement of loans hirepurchase finance lease finance bridge loans Inter CorporateDeposits Placements of Non Convertible Debentures with Mutualfunds etc. and Syndication of Bill Discounting at attractiverates of interest to reputed companies.SUBSIDIARYThe Company has no subsidiaries as on date.
