TIRUPATI FOAM LIMITED was incorporated on 14th October1986 as Tirupati Foams Private Limited. The company wasconverted into Public Limited Company and changed thename to TIRUPATI FOAM LIMITED on 12th December 1995.The Company is a profit making company engaged inmanufacturing of Flexible Polyurethane Foam which findswide spread application in Transport AutomobileFurniture Garments Packing Electronic Sports MedicalEquipment Leather Shoe and Toys Industries.Presently the company has manufacturing capacity of 600MTPA and has achieved capacity utilisation of 98.18% forthe period ended 31.03.1996 from a capacity utilisation of32.5% in 1991-92 reflecting a growth of 67.41%. Like wisethe turn-over of the company has grown from Rs.218.80 lacsfor the year ended 1991-92 to Rs.834.03 lacs in 1995-96reflecting nearly four fold increase in the turn over.The company is in the market since last eight years.According to Circular of Polyurethane Association of Indiaof June 1996 the annual consumption of polyurethane foamin India is 13500 MTPA and the demand is growing @ 12-15%per annum. Considering a capacity utilisation of 589 MTPAas on 31.03.1996 the company''s market share works out to4.36%. Subsequent to expansion in the first full year ofcommercial production in 1997-98 considering production of1050 MTPA and assuming corresponding increase inconsumption to 18225 MTPA the company will have amarket share of 5.76%.The company is marketing its product through dealers fromits head office at Ahmedabad and branches at Delhi Bombayand Udaipur. The company is presently selling its productsin the States like Gujarat Maharashtra KarnatakaTamilnadu MP Rajasthan UP and Delhi through network ofabout 100 dealers.The Company''s promoters are having extensive businessexperience in the industry. The Managing Director ShriRoshan Sanghvi has ten years experience in manufacture offlexible polyurethane foam. He looks after the Productionand Marketing functions of the Company. Shri Deepak MehtaExecutive Director has 10 years experience in Marketing offoam.The company has employed state of the art flat-toptechnology which reduces the quantum of wastage andincrease the yield and thereby resulting in better qualityproduction.The company has proposed expansion programme for increasingthe existing capacity from 600 MTPA to 3000 MTPA atestimated cost of Rs.403.67 lacs. The expansion project isset up at village Khatraj on Sanand Kalol Highway TalukaKalol District Mehsana Gujarat.
