SPL wasincorporated on 26th June 1989 as a Private Limited companyhaving its name as Superb Papers and Boards ProductsPrivate Limited. Further the Company has changed its nameto Superb Papers Private Limited vide Special Resolutionpassed on 24/07/1993 and obtained fresh Certificate ofIncorporation on 7th October 1993. Later the Company wasconverted into Public Limited vide Special resolutionpassed on 22/09/95 in Annual General Meeting and obtainedfresh Certificate of Incorporation on 27/10/95.PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANYThe Company was incorporated in 1989 as a medium scaleindustry due to delay in availability of power load thecompany started its commercial production from thefinancial year 1993-94. There has been no closures/labourproblems.At Present the Company has an installed capacity of 6000TPA at Factory at Block No. 224-225 Village Tarsadi PostNizar Tal. Mahuva Dist. Surat. The company is promotedby a reputed business house in South Gujarat engaged inmanufacturing of high class paper machineries with distinctreputation and market recognition having supplied plantskey equipments for paper mills to almost all reputed papermills all over India. The main products of the company arelow grammage and different class and quality of higherburst factor (B.P.) Machine Glazed (M.G.) Kraft paperMachine Glazed (M.G.) Colour poster paper mainly used inwrapping lamination corrugation Industrial packagingetc.The company is being managed by the board of Directorscomprising of technocrats having experience in paperindustry administration and finance who are havingprofessional back-grounds. SPL has increased its salesfrom Rs. 201.22 lacs in 1993-94 to Rs.518.63 lacs in1994-95. SPL has registered a net profit of Rs.25.01 lacsin 1994-95. It now proposes to enhance its capacity from6000 TPA to 12000 TPA through its proposed expansionscheme.
