SoftSol India Limited was originally incorporated on September20 1990 in the name of Napier Software Services PrivateLimited. The Company is a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU)registered with Software Technology Parks of India Hyderabad(STPH) on 28-05-1996. The name of the Company was subsequentlychanged to SoftSol India Private Limited with effect from June21 1999 pursuant to Section 23(1) of the Companies Act 1956.The Company was converted into a public limited company witheffect from November 6 1999 pursuant to Section 31 and 44 ofthe Act vide fresh certificate of incorporation dated November11 1999 issued by the Registrar of Companies Andhra PradeshHyderabad. `SoftSol India Limited is a subsidiary of SoftSolTechnologies Inc. U.S.A. and is a Nevada registeredcorporation. SoftSol Technologies Inc. U.S.A. is promoted byDr. (Mrs.) Durga V L. K. Madala who is also one of thepromoters of the Company. The Company was a dormant companytill 1996. Software Exports activities from the company havecommenced in 1996 with on-site software development activitiesfor SoftSol Resources Inc. U.S.A. (SRI) and its clients whichis promoted by Mr. Srinivasa Rao Madala who is also one of thepromoters of the Company. SoftSol operates from a 36000 sq.ft. offshore development facility in Software Technology ParkInfocity Madhapur Hyderabad India which is near to the L&THigh-tech City facility. The facility has the potential tohouse over 500 software professionals. Till date there has beenno time/cost overrun in setting up projects. The Company hasnot availed any loans from the Financial Institutions or banks.Also there have been no strikes or lockouts since the inceptionof the Company.SUBSIDIARY/(IES) OF THE COMPANYThe Company does not have any subsidiary.
