The Company provides integrated powertrain solutions covering design, prototyping, validation, development and manufacturing for both electric and non-electric powertrains, catering to applications across two-wheelers, performance automotive, e-bikes, off-road vehicles, electric and hybrid cars, heavy-duty vehicles and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) platforms.
It serves global customers including BMW, Ducati, enviolo, Formula Motorsport, Hummingbird EV and HWA, along with global e-bike manufacturers and other mobility and aerospace applications.
Hero Motors operates through two principal business segments: Powertrain Solutions and Alloys and Metallics (A&M).
The Powertrain Solutions segment comprises Gears and Transmissions (G&T) and Bike Powertrain (BPT). G&T caters to automotive and other mobility applications, while BPT focuses on the micro-mobility sector, including e-bikes, bicycles and e-scooters.
The A&M segment manufactures sheet metal and tubular assemblies and component solutions primarily for automotive OEMs.

The Company established a transmission manufacturing facility in Samut Prakan, Thailand, in 2023 to strengthen its presence in the ASEAN region, and expanded into electric drive units for micro-mobility under the ESYNC brand. The Company has also established technology centres in Southam, United Kingdom and Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, focused on automotive and micro-mobility applications.
