Axiscades order involves designing, developing, and supplying eight Radar Processing Systems for the Arudhra Medium Powered Radar (MPR).
Mistral Solutions, a subsidiary of Axiscades Technologies, has received a ₹90 crore domestic radar technology order from Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). Mistral Solutions has been hired by BEL, a prestigious aerospace and defense electronics company owned by the Indian government, to design, develop, and supply eight Radar Processing Systems for the Arudhra Medium Powered Radar (MPR).
Despite this significant achievement, the shares of Axiscades Technologies were trading at ₹510.15, 0.30% lower on the NSE from the previous close.
According to the exchange filing, over a four-year period, 8 Radar Processing Systems will be developed and supplied as part of this deal. The Arudhra MPR is a native rotating active phased array multifunction 4D radar that can automatically detect and track a variety of aerial targets, including combat aircraft flying at high speeds and slow-moving objects. The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), which subcontracted Mistral for the design and development of the radar signal processing system, has been working on this radar system since 2012.
Arun Krishnamurthi, the CEO and MD of Axiscades Technologies, expressed his gratitude to BEL for the defense deal, saying it is an honor for the company to deliver Radar Processing Systems. "This order is a significant step in our commitment to deliver cutting-edge technological solutions to enhance India's defense capabilities. We are actively working to support indigenous defense projects." We are still dedicated to using our technological creativity and brilliance to make significant contributions to the security of the country," he continued.
